The Bengali Association of Greater Atlanta (BAGA) is a non-profit organization incorporated under the laws of the State of Georgia and recognized as a tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.

Our Mission

BAGA's mission is to promote cultural, social, educational, and charitable activities for the benefit of the Bengali community in Metropolitan Atlanta and the surrounding areas. We strive to preserve and propagate Bengali language, literature, and culture while building lasting bonds among members of the community.

Core Objectives

• Create an environment of mutual goodwill between immigrant Bengalis and other local and regional organizations in Georgia and neighboring states.
• Ensure and promote the cultural heritage of Indian-Americans and Bengalis through religious, cultural, and educational activities.
• Organize annual flagship events that demonstrate the Indian culture, creativity, and intellect among our members.
• Organize funds and provide assistance to charitable and humanitarian causes.
• Represent Bengalis in the local community.
• Support educational initiatives, including the Kishalay Bangla School.
• Facilitate charitable activities and community service.
• Provide a platform for Bengali artists, writers, and performers.
