  • MEMBERS ARE FREE FOR SARASWATI PUJA, PICNIC, MAHALAYA, DURGA PUJA, AND LAKSHMI PUJA
  • KALI PUJA COVERAGE WILL DEPEND ON PERFORMANCE AND REVENUE DURING DURGA PUJA
  • ALL PAYMENTS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.
  • ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP IS VALID FROM JANUARY TO DECEMBER OF THE CALENDAR YEAR.

    1. Family:
      • General: It is defined as married spouses, or live-in partners with dependent children (6 yrs. up to undergraduate with student ID or 23 yrs. old whichever comes first).
      • Student: Student spouses or live-in partners with student ID with dependent children (6 yrs. up to undergraduate with student ID or 23 yrs. old whichever comes first) where none of the members are full time wage earners.
    2. Couple:
      • General: It is defined as married spouses, or live-in partners with no dependent children (6 yrs. up to undergraduate or 23 yrs. old whichever comes first).
      • Student: Married spouses, or live-in partners with student ID with no dependent children (6 yrs. up to undergraduate with student ID or 23 yrs. old whichever comes first) where none of the members are full time wage earners are authorized for couples.
    3. Single parent family:
      • General: Single parent family is defined as an individual with dependent children (6 yrs. up to undergraduate with student ID or 23 yrs. old whichever comes first).
      • Student: Single student (with student ID) with dependent children (6 yrs. up to undergraduate with student ID or 23 yrs. old whichever comes first).
    4. Individual:
      • General: A member of BAGA is an individual above 18 years of age who has paid his/her annual membership fees for the current membership year.
      • Student: A student above 18 yrs. old with student ID is authorized for student individual membership.

     

     

    There are 4 ways to pay the membership fee in 2026:

    1. Online with credit card in BAGA.net [Recommended] - We have covered the online payment gateway fee in the membership amount so that you won't be charged extra. With the latest updates on our website, you will get an opportunity to add/update your family member details during this membership sign up.
    2. Zelle - Please pay to ec_treasurer@baga.net. If you use this method of payment, kindly fill this google form . Please send a screenshot of your zelle payment confirmation page and the notification of submission of the google form to ec_treasurer@baga.net.
    3. Cash - If you use this method of payment, kindly fill this google form. Feel free to reach out to any member of the BCC EC team to handover the cash.
    4. Cheque - If you use this method of payment, kindly fill this google form. Please make a cheque payable to "Bengali Association of Greater Atlanta" and mail to P.O. Box 5154, Alpharetta, GA 30023 OR hand it over to a BCC EC team member listed below. Membership fees paid are non-refundable.

     

    Note, if you decide to pay by Zelle, Cash, or Cheque, updating the google form link shared is mandatory, especially member email ID, for us to recognize your payment and update our records for your membership. Family and couple members are required to provide email IDs for their spouse as well on the form. This is particularly important for all BAGA official communications as well as online voting management.

    The benefits of taking BAGA Annual Membership is outlined below:

    1. For the annual membership fee, members enjoy all cultural programs, external artist programs, sports events and community events as per the BAGA constitution, including food.
    2. Members and their kids can participate in BAGA cultural and sports events.
    3.  Members are part of an engaging and thriving community devoted to nurture and promote Indian and Bengali culture.
    4.  Members may get discounts on select engagements (example: discounts on event stall rate, discounts on select merchandise, or member only coupons per agreement with vendors etc.)

    A few important dates to note as per BAGA constitution:

    • Members who obtain or renew their membership by the last calendar day of February (02/28/2026) will enjoy a special privilege, granting them the ability to submit Nominations for BAGA offices and participate in Voting during BAGA elections, Bylaws amendments, and other relevant cases as required for the current year.
    •  Annual membership window closes on 31st August 2026. Payments beyond that date will be considered either as event fee or donation to BAGA.
