our program starts with Devi Bandana by young BAGA girls chanting stotras and singing melodious devotional Devi Bandana songs through their semi classical style choreography
This is the fourth production of BAGA portrays crimson kaleidoscope dances depicting the essence of color Red. Fusion and contemporary dance styles from the very best in BAGA as they will come together to portray various emotions symbolizing the color red as the color of blood. Red has historically been associated with sacrifice, danger and courage. In Bengali culture red is the color of happiness, marriage and good fortune. Our production takes these various expressions through dance and visualization.
